Visiting Researchers

We regularly host visiting researchers. If you are doing a PhD or post-doc in HCI or a related area and would like to spend some months at our lab, please get in touch. Note that we cannot always provide a funded position for visiting researchers.

PhD Students & Internships

If you are interested in pursuing a PhD with us, please apply through the ASE PhD program. Detailed information and application deadlines can be found on the ASE admissions website. Before submitting your application, we kindly ask you to contact Prof. Michael Haller via email.

We also welcome applications for internship positions. In this case, please email Prof. Michael Haller and include the following:

• Your CV, including a list of your skills
• Work samples (e.g., a website showcasing your projects)
• Your most recent academic transcript
• Your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship

Bachelor- & Master-Thesis

If you have your own proposal that you would like to do with us, write an email. Please remember to include in your email:

• a short description of your project (if you have your own project idea, max 1 page including figures)
• a link to your websites that show the projects you worked on (if applicable)

Our group is highly collaborative and you should be willing to be present in the lab and work with machines. We will not track your hours but we expect that you are at least 15h/week physically present at the lab.
